Similarly, certain areas such as the ankles, fingers, areola, neck, lips or bikini line lips are more sensitive than the thighs, stomach, upper chest or chin. These sensations are very brief, and stop as soon as the laser shot is over.<\/p>\n

In general, the pain is largely bearable (tingling, sensation of heat). The laser's cooling system, combined with the application of a cold gel to your skin, reduces pain and avoids the sensation of heat.<\/p>\n

However, if you can't stand the pain, you can apply a thick layer of anaesthetic cream to the area to be depilated, and cover it with cling film 1.5 hours before the session.<\/p>\n
