Clarifying the choice of breast implant: Round or anatomical?

Round breast implants are criticized for their unnatural appearance.
In other words, a bulging appearance at the top of the breast, but this is only a caricature.
It is perfectly possible to achieve a natural breast augmentation result with a round implant, thus avoiding the risk of implant rotation with anatomical implants.

A high or extra-high "full or extra-full" profile will give the upper part of the breast a bulge. This type of implant produces an unnatural result.

Moderate projection enables natural breast augmentation in patients who already have well-shaped breasts or significant subcutaneous thickness.
A low-profile plus projection enables natural breast augmentation in slim patients. Breast augmentation with breast prostheses avoids bulging at the upper pole, giving a more natural result.

 A rigorous surgical technique for a natural result

A rigorous surgical technique enables the implant to be positioned in its ideal position. The implant must be placed in such a way as to give more volume to the lower part than to the upper part.

The implant must be in the Dual-Plan position. The advantage of this position is that the implant can be positioned low enough for a natural result.

In addition, the pectoral muscle rests on the upper part of the prosthesis to give it an anatomical shape.

Another advantage is that it provides extra thickness to mask the upper contours of the prosthesis.
