Jowl treatment

The appearance of jowls is one of the signs of aging.

Medical treatment of jowls:

Injections ofhyaluronic acid fill in the hollows on either side of the jowls to harmonize the oval of the face. This treatment is only possible if the jowls are minor to moderate in shape.

Surgical treatment of jowls:

A cervico-facial lift can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia aided by light sedation (neuroleptanalgesia). It lasts from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the case.

The patient is discharged from the clinic the following day or, in some cases, the same evening. Scars are hidden in the hair, inside the ear and behind the ear. They are therefore discreet.

It's important to know that the full cervico-facial lift brings with it muscle re-tensioning (SMAS) to restore the full architecture of the face.
